Prior to joining Whitesun, Mr. Hsu worked for Hotung International Corp, and became its first Shanghai representative from 2003 to 2006. Prior to Hotung, Mr. Hsu joined CDIB, working in CDIB’s domestic direct investment department from 1996 to 2001. Mr. Hsu has made a number of successful technology investments in mainland China through US IPOs such as Ninetowns Digital [NASDAQ: NINE] and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation [NYSE: SMIC].
