Dr. Lin is the co-founder of Whitesun Equity Partners. Prior to founding Whitesun, Dr. Lin worked at CDIB between 2000 and 2004. During this period, Dr. Lin spearheaded the direct investment efforts of CDIB in the North American market (US and Canada). Dr. Lin has been actively involved in investing in telecommunications and semiconductor companies for CDIB.

In addition to the above investment activities, Dr. Lin also managed CDIB’s existing portfolio as well as performing administrative responsibilities. As part of these investment strategies, Dr. Lin led a number of successful transactions participated by leading private equity and venture capital firms such as Mayfield Fund, Mohr Davidow Ventures, Newbury Ventures, Technology Crossover Ventures (“TCV”) and Intel Capital.
